Love is in the air in Oceanside this month and we are excited to share it with our Oceanside Valentine's Week celebrations, starting February 5th. Not only do we have upcoming romantic rendezvous, dining specials, hotel deals and outdoor running and biking events, but there are a bunch of fun events for families. From art shows, to car shows, to a movie night, to the sunset market with some Valentine flair. Oceanside Valentine's Week is about spending time with the one's that you love and cherish the most. Oceanside Valentine's Week for Families:
Oceanside Art Walk
February 5th, 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Oceanside is the home to military, surf, skate and now a thriving art district. Join us as we celebrate the arts in the heart of Downtown Oceanside. The First Friday: Oceanside Art Walk will showcase vibrant art, live performances, music, poetry, art education, activities, culinary and pop-up art galleries showcased in local businesses and public spaces. Friday, February 5, 2016 will be about celebrating love! So bring your significant other, the kids, family and friends and enjoy beautiful Downtown Oceanside and the arts.

Hearts and Rods Car Cruise
February 10th, 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Historical cars and classic woodies will be parked along Coast Highway in Oceanside from Wisconsin Ave to Surfrider for the inaugural Hearts and Rods Cruise Night. Attendees are invited to walk along Coast Highway to view these incredible vehicles and talk with the owners. If you get hungry along the way, stop and grab a bite to eat at one of the many delicious restaurants along the route.

Sunset Market
February 11th, 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Thursday is Market Day in downtown Oceanside! From 5pm-9pm, the sun begins to set and the family-friendly Sunset Market comes alive. This outdoor style festival brings together international food vendors, live entertainment and a children's area - make an evening of it, stay and eat dinner! The market also includes over 100 arts and crafts vendors, making it a wonderful place to purchase the perfect gift or souvenir.
Well behaved pets are invited to attend the market. The Sunset Market takes place every Thursday night from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the corner of Coast Hwy and Pier View Way.

Movies at the Pier
February 13th, 6:00pm – 10:00pm
Check out this awesome DOUBLE FEATURE during Oceanside Valentine's Week celebration on February 13, 2016 at the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheatre. Bring blankets, lawn chairs and snacks and enjoy an evening under the stars with the ones you love. This family-friendly event will feature 2 classic romance stories, including Disney's animated hit Tangled (starting at 6pm) and Sleepless in Seattle (starting at 8pm). This event is free to attend and open to the public.
