The Whet Noodle

The Whet Noodle, is the newest, tastiest ramen bar to hit Oceanside this year. Opened by the well-known sushi chef and owner of Wrench and Rodent Seabasstropub, Davin Waite, expect a similar personality influence to The Whet Noodle. Expect a menu full of hot and cold appetizers, such as calamari, scallops and fried sweetbread nuggets. As for the ramen noodles, Waite promises noodles that are "crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside." Whether you're craving a hot and sour miso broth made with vegan and gluten-free vegetable stock, or a duck shoyu stock, made with his signature slow-smoked duck meat, you will leave with a warm and happy belly.
URGE GastroPub and Whiskey Bank

Make way for this "Coastal American Classic Gastropub and Whiskey Bank," established in 2015. With a philosophy to use the best local products to produce classic american bar food, followed by a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, this may become your new favorite hang out spot! From beer cheese fries, to crispy lamb and feta meatballs, the menu covers an array of delicious options; all which can be washed down with a wide selection of beer, wine, or their extensive variety of American, Canadian, Irish, Japanese, Scotch, or Taiwanese Whiskies.
