However, that also makes us a very popular beach destination which means potentially crowded beaches in the high season between Memorial Day and Labor Day. To protect the beach goer experience and keep it open for public use, the City of Oceanside does not grant permits during this period. Don’t fret, you can still have a beachfront wedding. Our ocean side venues offer weddings from intimate gatherings of up to 40 guests to grand soirees of up to 150. No matter what you’re looking for, Oceanside can make your dream seaside wedding a reality.
Oceanside Marina Suites
Hands-down one of our most popular ocean front venues, this resort sits on a peninsula at the mouth of Oceanside Harbor and offers ocean views for days. Two ceremony sites are offered as well as an outdoor reception lawn for up to 150 guests. Since the property is also a hotel, it is perfect for a destination wedding or a wedding with a lot of out-of-town guests.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott
The newest hotel to grace the Oceanside scene, this venue has an ocean view deck for the ceremony and a ballroom for up to 96 guests. The entire hotel has a beachy feel with wood-woven chandeliers and a blue/green sea décor scheme. The succulent wall art next to the outdoor fire pit is a sight to behold as is the view from the 6th floor pool deck. If you dream of a beachside ceremony, consider the Strand Gazebo at Pacific Street Linear Park. It’s only two blocks from the hotel!

A La Plage Weddings
This beachfront vacation home welcomes weddings for up to 40 guests. They even set up everything for you for a small fee. The home has three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeps up to twelve guests. There are other vacation homes in the immediate area to accommodate additional guests. If you’re looking for the best option for a private beach wedding in Oceanside, this is it!
333 Pacific and Oceanside Broiler
Not everyone is looking for a full dazzling reception. Some prefer to have an amazing sit-down meal with their family and friends to chat, drink, and enjoy without all of the fuss and worrying. 333 Pacific is Oceanside’s oceanfront fine dining experience. While they have smaller private dining rooms perfect for rehearsal dinners, their crown jewel is the Ocean View Terrace that can be bought out for private events of up to 62 for a seated dinner. You’ll practically be sitting on the pier! Attached to the restaurant is the Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort so your guests can conveniently stay near the party. If you need a little more room, Oceanside Broiler in the Oceanside Harbor can accommodate up to 100 on their Lanai Patio and Bar. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets as sailboats cruise by.

Oceanside Beachfront Parks
There are two parks in Oceanside that the city will consider granting permits for during peak season at their discretion. They are the Pacific Linear Park and Tyson Street Park. Both parks are on the strand with beach access and pier views.
