Owner Tim Farley brings his popular New York style pie concept to the former home of Santino’s Pizza at Oceanside Plaza. Knockout’s mouthwatering brick oven-cooked pizzas, pastas, salads and subs are sure to be a hit O’side way. The chefs that work at the chain are a creative group of artists, surfers and or skateboarders that invent surprise daily special pizzas to the delight of loyal regulars. The Privateer Marketplace & Wine Bar
The 1,500 square foot marketplace will carry artisan deli sandwiches (takeaway and made to order), charcuterie plates, grab & go meals and unique salads. The dessert bar will feature Petite Madeline Bakery & Bistro goods, handmade gelato and sorbets. Expect Stumptown Coffee Roasters cold brew and Oceanside’s Kombucha on Tap. And the wine bar will offer unique bottled beer options. Owner Charlie Anderson explains, “The goal is to provide quick fresh healthy options for the fast paced lifestyle that we live today with quality local ingredients on the go at anytime.”
Evenings will focus on appetizers, desserts, wine, beer and coffee drinks. Sourcing from local vendors, The Privateer Marketplace & Wine Bar fills a sadly empty gap in the Oceanside culinary scene with promises for bigger and better things to come.

Swami’s
Swami’s will be moving down the street into a new 4,500 square foot space. All the same well-loved classics will stay on the menu and a new tapas selection is being introduced. Swami’s will stay open until 8pm enhancing Oceanside’s downtown nightlife. Of particular interest is that fact that Swami’s plans to feature a rotate collection of local artwork on their expansive wall space.
