LEGOLAND California Resort gears up for its holiday celebration, Holiday Snow Days and Winter Nights, that starts on November 29, 2015. Expect tons of snow where families can throw snowballs at the LEGO themed targets, build LEGO snowmen, and enjoy a snow-tubing experience as they glide down a 7-foot tall tube that is covered with snow.
When you enter the park, try not to miss dinosaur, Bronte. He stands 9 ft. tall and measuring from his nose to the tip of his tail, made up of all LEGO bricks, he is 34-feet long!
One of the park’s main attractions is Explorer Island where kids and adults alike enjoy riding the Coastersaurus at speeds up to 21 mph, with its curves and dips all around a primeval wilderness with life-size dinosaurs made of LEGO bricks. Guests will also find the 1,100 lb. Brachiosaurus taking a dip in the pond while the 10-foot tall Parasaurolophus scavenges for food in the park.
Guests can enjoy singing along with live music that features LEGO Friends Live and Jingle Jammers. For the first time, you will witness the lighting of the world’s biggest Christmas tree made up of LEGO bricks. End the exciting celebration with San Diego’s largest event for children, the Kids New Year’s Eve Party!
The Christmas tree is 30-feet tall and is made up of over 245,000 forest green DUPLO® bricks, which will light up when a celebrity guest pulls the switch for the yearly tree lighting ceremony on December 2nd. Follow the LEGOLAND California Facebook page where a lucky winner from will be chosen to light the tree every night from Dec. 1 to Dec. 24.
During the winter holidays, everyone can build a snowman using LEGO accessories. Don’t miss the fun of magical winter nights filled with live music, pulsating lights and entertaining shows. Santa’s Elves will serve yummy treats from its food truck, too. On Dec. 26-30th, LEGOLAND California will decorate the night skies with fireworks for everyone’s delight.
Finally, enjoy taking pictures with the life-size LEGO Santa and his Reindeer, it makes a perfect holiday photo, to share with family and friends.
