City and tourism officials in San Diego are bringing back “Kids Free” promotions throughout San Diego’s in the month of October. This is a unique time in which San Diego residents and visitors alike can enjoy local attractions at discounted rates, experiencing the best San Diego has to offer. With more than 100 offers city wide, there is something for everyone!
Here are a few attractions, museums, tours, and travel companies that are participating in the Kids Free in October promotion.
San Diego Kids Free in October Attractions:
For the entire month of October, kids (ages 3 to 9) enter the SeaWorld park free with the purchase of a valid adult single-day ticket. Kids (ages 10 to 12) enter free into the Dolphin & Beluga Interaction Program, and kids (ages 3 to 9) eat free at Breakfast & Dine with Shamu with the purchase of a corresponding adult ticket.

For children under the ages of 11 for both the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park entrance is free with the purchase of an adult admission ticket. There is no limit to how many children enter into the park for free per adult ticket, but within reason to conduct proper supervision is required.

San Diego Kids Free in October Museums:
San Diego Museum Council is again bringing back the opportunity for children (12 and under) each accompanied by an adult to enter into more than 40 museums around San Diego. Presented by ScholarShare, take your kids this October to indulge in the wonders of space and the beautiful oceans that surround us. See your kids get excited about modern art, sculpture and more!

How to Get There
If you are looking to partake in any of these excellent offers, but are wondering how to get there, especially from out of town, a few options are available.
Stopping along many
of the beautiful coastal cities of San Diego and its North County region, kids (ages 2-12) are able to ride free when accompanied by a (full) paid adult. This ticket requires advance reservation, at least three days ahead of time, and is valid for travel to Oceanside, Solana Beach, San Diego Old Town, and San Diego stations!

Old Town Trolley and SEAL tours will be participating in the Kids Free promotions throughout October by offering a free ride for children (ages 4-12) per paid adult. Also included in this offer is the La Jolla & San Diego Beaches Tour. The ability to hop on and off the trolley, at one or more of its 11 stops along its loop, makes utilizing the trolley to travel in and around San Diego this October attractive!
