About Bike the Coast – Taste the Coast

Bike the Coast – Taste the Coast is a recreational bicycle ride with choices of a 7, 15, 25, 50, or a whopping 100 mile ride beginning and ending with food – something to get the heart and rhythm flowing! The ride and related events, Taste the Coast Expo and Beer Garden, take place on Saturday, October 10 at the Oceanside Pier.

Proceeds from the ride support the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to making bicycling better in greater San Diego.

Various local food and beer opportunities will be selected by Mean Street Oceanside including Jamaican BBQ, street tacos, seafood, hot sandwiches, Thai cuisine, locally made ice cream, and, in the spot light, Kira Ora – a new local kitchen shoveling out New Zealand classics like Shepherd Pies and Red Oven Pizza.
