Joann D. Hartle: 2015 Del Mar Summer Concert Series

Not only is Del Mar Race Season known for its exciting and exhilarating races, but also for its fantastic Summer Concert Series! Every Friday and Saturday this month, there will be a great concert at the end of the races. Get ready to rock!

General Concert Information

Concerts are 18+ only, except on Aug 28th “Weird Al” Yankovic is open to all ages.
Concerts begin shortly after the last race; be sure to check program for specific race times.
Food and drinks are available for purchase at all concerts.

Tickets and Admission

Concerts are free with racetrack admission.
The concert is standing only, no seating available.
Tickets are $20 if you arrive after the last race.

No parking overnight
Racetrack parking is $10
The COASTER and Amtrak Train get off at Solana Beach
Lyft, Uber, and taxis will be available near shuttle pickup

Friday, August 14th | Steel Pulse

Steel Pulse is a Grammy award winning roots reggae band formed in 1975 in Birmingham, England. With current band members David Hinds, Selwyn Brown, and Sidney Mills, we can’t wait to groove to their reggae vibes! Click here for more information.

Friday, August 21st | Pepper

pepper Pepper is Kona dub rock band from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Drawing inspiration from The Police and UB40, Pepper has a very unique sound. Click here for more information.

Friday, August 28th | “Weird Al” Yankovic

Weird Al at the Del Mar Races “Weird Al” Yankovic is a comedy/pop/rock artist from Los Angeles. He is known for his comedic songs about pop culture and parody specific songs by modern day musical acts, including “White & Nerdy”, “Eat It”, and “My Bologna”. Click here for more information.

Paul Oakenfold is an English record producer and trance DJ started in 1980. He was voted the number 1 DJ in the world in 1998 and 1999, and now we get to see him perform for us at the Races! Click here for more information.
