Inter-Tribal Powwow
June 13 and 14, 2015
The community is invited to the 19th Annual Inter-Tribal Powwow at Mission San Luis Rey. The schedule of events will include traditional Native American dancing, arts & crafts booths, food vendors and opportunity drawings.
Race Across America
June 16 & 20, 2015
Grab your bells and whistles to cheer on the individual and team bicycle riders as they leave the Oceanside Pier on June 16 and June 20th and make their way across the country to Annapolis, MD. Riders will start their voyage at 12pm. Read more about Race Across America (RAAM).

Movie at the Pier | “Surf’s Up”
June 20, 2015
You are invited to watch the hit animated feature “Surf’s Up” in the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheatre on June 20. The movie will kick-off at sunset, so arrive early to set up your perfect movie- viewing experience. Grunion Run
June 2-5, June 16-19, July 2-5, July 15-18 and July 31-August 3, 2015
Every Spring and Summer the beaches of Oceanside host thousands of slippery fish that come ashore after nightfall. Grunion leave the water at night to spawn along the shoreline. Bring your flashlight and for four consecutive nights, you have the chance to spot the Grunion as they swim as far up the shore as possible. Read more about the 2015 Grunion Run season.
Independence Day Parade
June 27, 2015
Don’t forget your RED, WHITE and BLUE when you attend the annual Oceanside Independence Day Parade on June 27th at 10am. Wave your American flags from the side lines as you see beauty queens, marching bands, floats, antiques cars, military units and horses pass down Coast Highway. Star-Spangled Sunset Market
July 2, 2015
The Thursday Sunset Market with a patriotic twist. Visitors to the market will enjoy traditional favorites- delicious international cuisine, a variety of vendors, a children’s play area and live entertainment, but there will be lots of RED, WHITE and BLUE!
Oceanside Firework Show
July 3, 2015
The City of Oceanside Firework Show will be held on July 3. Festivities will begin at 6pm, inviting the community to bring law chairs and family-friendly activities for a block-party environment. Food trucks will be on site selling a variety of food. The fireworks will kick off at 9pm.
Concerts in the Park
July 5- August 9, 2015
Heritage Park in Oceanside will be hosting a FREE Summer Concert Series every Sunday and will showcase a different style of music from week to week. Headliners include Billy Harper & Friends (Patriotic /Broadway), Robert Parker on Keyboard (Americana), Surfer Sounds and more.
Paul Mitchell Supergirl Pro
July 24-26, 2015
The largest women’s surf contest in the world takes place at the Oceanside Pier this July. There will be three days of surfing heats leading to an exciting head to head competition between the world’s best female surfers. Attendees will also enjoy exploring the Festival Village hosting live music, yoga, meet and greets and free hairstyling by Paul Mitchell. Read more about the Supergirl Pro.
Trains for Kids
Saturday Mornings
Every Saturday from 10am-3pm, the North County Model Railroad Museum invites you to visit their new home within Oceanside’s historic Heritage Park, welcoming children to run and operate model trains. Read more about the Trains for Kids program.
